While members enjoy benefits such as invitations to members-only events, discounts at The Textile Museum Shop and on program registration, and subscriptions to the quarterly Members’ Magazine, membership also provides general support for The TM’s operations.

The Textile Museum Annual Fund provides general support toward all of the museum's activities. Your unrestricted gift to the Annual Fund allows us to apply funds to the following areas:
- Exhibitions: Your gift supports curatorial research, design and installation of TM exhibitions
- Scholarship: Your gift supports research, publication, and dissemination of scholarly material that informs global knowledge of the textile arts
- Educational Programs: Your gift ensures that The TM reaches adults, families, and school groups across the Washington, DC area with high-quality educational programs offering introductory to advanced learning about the textile arts
- Conservation & Collections Care: Your gift supports archival supplies and other materials needed to preserve The TM’s world-class textile collections for generations to come

Other Ways to Give
Gifts of Securities
A charitable contribution of stock to The Textile Museum may be deducted from your income taxes in the amount equal to the full fair market value of the security on the date it is given. To take full advantage of a stock gift, the shares need to be transferred directly to The Textile Museum.
