Given annually, the George Hewitt Myers Award is the most distinguished honor in the field of textile arts. At this year's reception and award ceremony, guests will enjoy a sampling of Turkish wine and traditional foods as we celebrate Walter B. Denny’s lifelong dedication to Islamic visual culture, and specifically his contributions to the field of Islamic textile arts. On behalf of The Textile Museum Board of Trustees, President Bruce P.
