The Textile Museum Fall Symposium
From Kimono to Couture:
The Evolution of Japanese Fashion

October 16 through 18, 2009

Drawing inspiration from The Textile Museum's fall exhibition, Contemporary Japanese Fashion: The Mary Baskett Collection, this weekend conference will explore the evolution of Japanese fashion from the enduring kimono to the latest styles worn on the streets of Tokyo and Osaka.

Activities will be held at The Textile Museum and The Phillips Collection in Washington, D.C.

Please note that rates are subject to change based on availability, so guests should plan to reserve space as early as possible.
