The Textile Museum Fall Symposium


Plan to join us this fall for a weekend conference on the cultural context of Oriental rugs and textiles -- an engaging exploration for experts and novices alike. Enjoy a varied program of presentations by scholars and experts, evening receptions, an exhibition tour of Timuktu to Tibet: Rugs and Textiles of the Hajji Babas, and a special “Show-and-Tell” session.

The weekend begins with a dessert reception, open to all symposium attendees and Textile Musem members, celebrating Timbuktu to Tibet: Rugs and Textiles of the Hajji Babas. See the exhibition, pick up your symposium packet and enjoy refreshments. Please note: doors open at 7:30 pm.
